This is in response to the Hitler-style cleansing of the membership rolls undertaken by PG and his Deacons recently in their attempt to silence the voice of the hurting members.
Instead of the shepherd protecting his sheep, our Calvary shepherd is now kicking out his own sheep!
Among the members sacked are several who have been members for more than 45 years. In fact there is one pioneering member who has been with Calvary since its first inaugural service in 1961, the year Calvary Church was born. Today, after 49 years of faithful service, he has been sacked. Another “old-timer” sacked is a member who has been serving in various ministries since 1963.
These faithful members were already serving in Calvary when PG was still in his school uniform. When PG was introduced to these pioneering members in 1972, they received him warmly and voted to employ him as their pastor. Today, this pastor has terminated their membership without even the courtesy of a simple phone call or a letter to tell them why they have been sacked. This is indeed one of the darkest hour in the history of Calvary Church.
If you are among the 400 who have been sacked, please come this Saturday to support your fellow burden-bearers. Even if you are not among those sacked, do come in support of the group’s struggle to bring about greater transparency and accountability in the leadership of Calvary Church.

This church takes Sunday worship attendance as a record to sack you as a voting and associate member.
I thought a good church takes attendance as a mean to find out how is the spiritual life of a member.
Some more, this church posts in its in their website to tell the world how mean they are and can be!

for us to press for transparency & accountability and , NOT CONDONE the totalitarian rule of prince Guneratnam.
We owe it to ourselves, the next generation and the Community to stand up for these fundamental values to be practised and not just preached. And that there be NO compromise, ever.
Do you want to 'turn a blind eye' or stand with these who are pressing-on, and respond
to the call to be there with them for those 400 victimised faithful Members?

NEED ANSWERS for theFollowing QUESTIONS:
WHEN did taking Attendance take effect?
HOW do PG & the BOD take the attendance of Members/ Worshipers?
IS THERE a Record Attendance Book with the 1400 names on it?
HOW do they identify them VM, AM and the "worshipers in general--by their faces?/ CCTV? or
they formed their "private Detectives"?
WHO is assigned the task of Attendance taking--
"ELDER" Patrick Wong?
DOES "PG's Private Detective Team" follow the Members and track them down ?
WHO drew up the "Removal List" of the 400 Members? and
WHO authorised it?
I was only 4 years old when this church had its first inaugural service in 1961.
Ten years later the Lord brought me to this church. Ps Jim Jones was the pastor then. PG one year later.
I grew up having a lot of Christain friends. One gave me one to one bible study and is pastoring Seremban now.
Was very involved in ministries in the church, (like my second home).Found my beloved life partner and married in this sanctuary.God blessed us with children. They were dedicated to the Lord in this sanctuary.
BUT NOW WE ARE SACKED OR DROPPED AFTER 40 YEARS IN CALVARY CHURCH.
In other words, we were
MATCHED,
HATCHED,
DESPATCH !!!!!!!
Heard that TTG trying to reconcile but up to today PG not making any effort to do that.
AOG tried but failed !!!!

Is it not a pastor's heart to reconcile ???

Or PG does not have a pastor's heart but a heart for MONEY ???

When we Members ever get a Call or visitation or letter from CC our 'gladness' of expectation always turned to Sadness.
It Always turned out whether they be Pastors, Leaders, Heads,or Deacons, they will "advise"or "counsel" you any or all of the following:
--to 'support'(giv$) CC's programmes "Or Else!"
--to take leave from serving, "Or Else!"
--to ask no questions in the open "Or Else!"
--to confirm 100% for PG's vision, "Or Else!"
I remember my late Dad's days, how we are so filled with joy, when the missionary and pastors of ( CC's Mother church in Jalan Sayor, KL) visit us ( who had to take two change of bus and walk far ). They were genuine in their love & care for us--our welfare, our walk in Christ..they encourage and pray with us) --Wonderful, Humble Servants of God.
In the case of the present CC, you are left CONFUSED, TROUBLED, DISCOURAGED.. and you need to pray to God that they stop STUMBLING His beloved children.
Of Course those not members, ex members, public, christians wanting to see proper justice with the Church Life should also come. Park far away from the Church and walk there. Bring camera, video and YOU TUBE the event. I will be waiting for you guys to upload by Sunday. Put an end to Blatant ABUSE of power within the church circle. Call all the daily media, Malaysiakini, MT, Bloggers, NSTP, STAR, Edge, Sin Chew, Nanyang, Berita Harian, Harakah, Utusan....etc. BIG Ply cards asking Tan Sri & Family to go for Corruption. Step DOWN NOW and End CORRUPTION inside Calvary. Make it known to the Main stream Media that there is corruption inside Calvary Christian Church. Show unfinish projects cost of $150 million and ask can 700 + voting members contribute to complete the building!! Shame them, expose them and its time for closure. Fact remains these Tan Sri, family and gang will not budge or move. Bring Ply cards stating can the Calvary afford a $200K salary for top dog? Even more $$$ if Family is included. We need closure in this matter otherwise Tan Sri and team will make Calvary History. No loss to them as they also have their STASH of $$$ already. Print out material and pass to Public, media. There is no FEAR in TRUTH!! Lodge the Interim Order to FREEZE the Church Accounts and Banking Activities!!
I noted that practically all those who stood up to oppose during 2009 AGM have been dropped from VM.....is it to silence the remaining sheep to ensure they quietly adopt all proposals, accounts etc?
Becos our brothers and sisters stood up for transparency, truth and good governance and they have already paid a 'price' by being dropped, I will be present at DP this Saturday.
All the pastors, deacons, membership department cannot simply cook up rules to taking away the membership from these men and women of God.
You fools!! Handing over a memorandum to him personally? You think he is going to be there? As surely as the devil is around- he wont be there. Probable reasons given-" the timing and the place not right, or " had to go visit the poor" " had to look into some urgent matters." These are the usual AOG leadership excuses. One brother said earlier was correct.
1) Will TTG lawyers apply for a STAY of the CC AGM, pending legal action to reinstate all VM and AM ?
2) Will TTG apply for an interim injunction to freeze the CC financial accounts pending dispoal of the case on 23-3-2010 which will likely be postponed again.
3)Apply also for joint release of funds for daily CC usage, appointment of auditors from both sides to decide on expenditures disbursement.
4) Apply for Court order to remove PG from CC premises as PG is no longer the Legal person employed by CC according to the Church Handbook.

I hv seen several comments on PG regarding "flashing", "Sun Complex" and raided by IRB. The overall picture I've gathered and agreed upon are his fraudulent dealing with church funds, unbecoming life style and abuse of power. Since the above subjects kept popping out, is there any proof to substantiate. Would appreciate if you will elaborate.
I understand some details are best kept private so please email to me.

APART FROM SP, IT SEEMS TO ME VERY LITTLE BLAME HAS BEEN PUT UPON AP AND OTHER PASTORS. IN MY OPINION, I FEEL THE ASSOCIATE PASTORS & OTHER PASTORS ARE JUST AS WORSE THAN SP, IF NOT WORSE FOR CONDONING THE INJUSTICES OF SP AND FAILING TO STAND UP FOR GOD AGAINST UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. You all know that sacking of members is UNCONSTITUTIONAL........ This is the first I have heard of MASS sacking of members. Ex-communicate yes.....but whatever Tan Sri & team is doing means you have more room and opportunity to Lodge an Injunction and Interim Order to even stop him & all Pastors from Preaching. Since we in in this FARCE Mode...might as well play it to the HILT and until Cows come home. Most important is to lodge to Freeze the Calvary Church Bank Accounts and lets those Tan Sri, BOD use their own pocket money to try to lift the injunction.....Do it soon before money gets move around to a personal account and then your attempt to "Stress Test" the building fund elapse!! Like they say time to TURUN PADANG!! and play it to a closure!...That means all those Tan Sri & Family and BOD Must Go. There is no more Credibility in their actions supported by BOD. Its not about Transparency but Corruption. Why are Christian so shy about it?? We blame the government easily on corruption but the LOG IN FRONT of your eyes you cannot see. "Kuman diseberang laut dilihat tapi GAJAH dibibir tak nampak"!! ...translated...for those uneducated in this Malay language "One can see a Germ across the sea, but the Elephant in front of your lips, you can't see"!! Don't ever trivalized the Corruption inside Church. Fight it for the Dignity of Christian Church. At least Fight it till there is a closure and move on...then if they continue to exist in the same form we can call them a Christian CULT!!

400 sacked arbitrarily?Just who does he think he is?? If members accept this action meekly, other AOG Pastors will follow suit.Maybe words like "If you cannot submit to me, then get out of this church. Go somewhere else!!" will stop.Its really pathetic that it has come to this situation.Anyway what is the AOG Council doing? They usually talk tough from behind the pulpit and now not a voice is heard? Shame on the AOG leadership. Toothless Dogs.

I am an ex member/leader of an AOG church in PJ. I am sad to say that from my experience, most AOG leaders are not good people. We wemt through a case where our sp was found out to be having an affair. The AOG always side with the pastors. No proper discipline for the pastor. All they are concerned about are the church funds and property. The general secretary of ag even threathened the church members with police reports when the church wanted to disaffiliate from the aog.
Apart from the affair, what we found out after that was that the sp was also abusing missions funds. He used that money to buy expensive guitars and electronic gadgets and business class tickets.
My observation is that most AOg pastors were trained by prince and served in calvary church at some stage. Maybe thats where they learned this type of abusive behavior.
I wish you all the best in what you are trying to do..But dont have much hope for AOG in Malaysia. Its rotten to the core.

In reply to Anonymous (1.15pm). This spiritual abuse and the authoranian rule of AOG churches happened not just in CC but almost everywhere especially in US, Britain and Australia. Are they actually true churches of God? Jesus warned His followers to be aware of such people, "You shall know them by their fruits". Exactly, you are seeing the unfruitfull deeds of darkness committed by CC pastors. Do not expect the AOG Council or, I must add the NECF to do anything because they all belong to the same breed & family(AOG) and would not go against their own fellow leaders.
Though the battle to fight against CC leaders is tough, I agree with what MR EQUALIZER commented earlier to fight them to the HILT. 'At least fight them till there is a closure and move on......then if they continue to exist in the same form, we can call them a Christian CULT'. Cheers to that!

Am just watching this 2-hour documentary, on Discovery Channel 551, entitled "Jonestown : Paradise Lost".
Yes! This is the documentary about the late Rev. Jim Jones & Jonestown, Guyana. He was a charismatic & anointed pastor who was seduced by Satan into changing his Temple movement into a cult.
It was this external incident, very early in my Christian life, which had caused me to be vigilant that whatever church I should be attending would not be turned into a cult & another Jonestown.
Today, I see in PG what others had seen in the late Rev. Jim Jones then - an anointed & charismatic pastor who was later seduced by Satan to change his church into a cult. God forbid that CC &/or CCC should become "Prince-town" as CC today is indeed a cult where the SP & BOD can choose to sack 400 members, by invoking the provisions of an outdated Church Constitution, just to shut them up in order to prolong their own survival.
Where is God in all this? Obviously, God is no longer in their lives; as there is no love shown in their actions & our God is a god of love.
May God NOT let CC be turned into a "Prince-town" by PG & his cohorts - the BOD & APs. Amen !!!

is conclusive that he is 'NO pastor' at all, but just a PSEUDO-spiritual leader, including all his associates, Deacons & "Elders" who lie through their teeth, and not bat an eyelid.
PG, Associate pastors and BOD are still living in Calvary Church's past glory. They don't realise that when they are out of touch with God and when they seek their own agenda, they are no longer relevant.
Just because a person is called to be a pastor does not guarantee his spiritual well being for life. God is not deceived by mere mortals.. Pastors may try to deceive us but God is sovereign and He overules and removes all who mislead and abuse His sheep.
God is faithful and He keeps His Word just as He has said so.

i took time for the 1030am service with this jordian dr salid i think...observing from the side line...there is this amosphere of dryness despite of trying hard to rally..what shocked me as i was sitting ..there was this small pocket at the back of each seat..5 different envelopes..all asking for MONEY ..DONATION PLEDGES AND all come in differnet names..would i part my hard earned money?
the whole espisode of these happening is also our diligence and indifference in allow the sp the free hand ..we trusted him and in the process ego took over like luicifer.
with today star prominent news ,it is for the wrong reason.in any sense sp should step down allow the members to decide.with these manipulations of sacking members confirmed his fears of malpractise.
what does these members benefits? most if not all arfe working class dont need a living from the church..sp has more vested interest to benefits. those associate pastors are depending on him for a living n likely submit...sp is mortal ..does they realized that? members and future generations are always there...sp should gracefully take a long break..without him can the church function?
if not ..something is wrong in the sucession .
